Crossroads Point Business Center was once again the host city to a Patriot Day Healing Field Flag Memorial of 3011 flags. These 3' x 5' flags stood 8 foot tall in perfect rows and columns across a field of green and stood in honor of the lives lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11th 2001. The living memorial flew as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans.

A breathtaking display of patriotism and unity, this community project was free to all who wish to participate and heal together from the heartache of a nation attacked. For more information on the history of the Healing Field read the Story of the Idea.

The community event ran from September 7 - 20, 2006 at the Crossroads Point center in Jerome, ID.

Each of the 3011 3' x 5' flags were available for sponsorship. Each person who sponsored a flag was free to take it home along with an eight foot pole at the end of the event. That way the tribute did not have to end when the flags came down. The funds raised from the sale of the flags were donated to local charities.
