The picturesque Heritage Plaza is a 14,400 square foot 3-story commercial building featuring Spanish-Colonial styling, a full wrap-around veranda and second floor balcony space. With exterior construction completed in 2009, the building is a faithful replica of the city of Jerome's historic 1908 North Side Inn. Decorative concrete adorns both the interior and exterior spaces. The Heritage Plaza, built by owners Geritt & Lori Dragt of Dragt Construction, features 11 condominium office suites. Sitting on a 1.26-acre lot, the building's exterior is finished and landscaped. The original intent for the building was for it be used as business and medical offices related to the St. Benedicts Hospital planned to be built next to Heritage Plaza.
The building has all infrastructure but no internal plumbing, electrical, natural gas, cable or phone lines. With its interior stud-wall construction, the building provides unique opportunities for a build-to-suit project based upon a purchaser’s or lessee’s needs. The parking lot is covered with crushed rock, allowing paving and stripping to be completed at the buyer’s or lessee’s expense. The building lot has been landscaped with grass, shrubs and trees. There is an additional lot, originally intended for a sister property called the Legacy, available for sale on the north side of the Heritage Plaza. This provides the flexibility if your business needs space for an additional building and parking.
This floor offers maximum flexibility for any application of space. One of the best uses could be for large conference space with the removal of all but the outside load bearing walls.
The second floor is again very adaptable with a large exterior patio that faces east. With this asset, the second floor could be a restaurant that could take advantage of this patio.
While there are many alternatives, the most likely use of the third floor is for office space.
Potential uses for the Heritage Plaza include, but are certainly not be limited to:
- Corporate Offices
- Medical Offices
- Conference Center
- Retail Center
- Guest Rooms
- Boutique Mall
- Mixed Use / Multi-Purpose
The building is owned by the Dragt's without encumbrances, and they are able to consider any reasonable offer.
When Heritage Plaza was under construction, Dragt Construction conceived a sister building to be named the Legacy. They developed plans and secured the lot next to Heritage Plaza for a similar style 19,000 square foot office building. This represents a unique opportunity. If your building requirements exceed the size limitations of the Heritage Plaza, there are plans and available land to build a 28,000 – 30,000 square foot building in an adjacent lot. Click Here for more details and pricing about the Legacy Building Lot also currently for sale.
Heritage Plaza has a prime location at Crossroads Point Business Center®. It occupies a very visible lot on the development's main road, Crossroads Point Blvd, and is located near Comfort Inn & Suites hotel and gas station Valley Wide Country Store.
Heritage Plaza is next to the junction of US Highway 93 and Interstate 84. This is one of the busiest interchanges in the entire state. According to the Idaho departments of Labor and Transportation, the location offers access to a consumer base of 250,000 people and 53,000 vehicles driving by on average daily. Imagine the possibilities what you could do with Heritage Plaza!

The city of Jerome, Idaho, was founded on March 19, 1907. It was named after its founding father Jerome Kuhn, who along with his brother Wendell Kuhn, opened the North Side Land & Water Co. Their efforts to build canals from the Snake River and drilling wells for potable water provided the needed infrastructure to grow the city. Construction of the Idaho Hotel, later renamed the North Side Inn, began October 1, 1908. It was dramatic; a large piece of fine art suddenly visible across a dry wasteland. The North Side Inn was used to entertain perspective buyers for North Side tracts of water and land. The hotel was located at the corner of Main Street and Lincoln Avenue in the city of Jerome. This location was to serve as center of activity in the city for the next 50 years. In the 1960’s, construction was completed on Interstate I-84, three miles south, and neighboring Twin Falls became the center of regional commerce. Jerome’s grand old downtown hotel began to fade. It was ultimately demolished in 1966. It may be gone, but the memory of the North Side Inn, and the city it helped found live on. For additional information about the history of the North Side Inn, download The Story of the North Side Inn 1908-1966 (PDF).
Heritage Plaza, built at Crossroads Point Business Center®, is a modern-day replica of Jerome's historic North Side Inn. Its location at Crossroads Point®, a 500-acre business park development at the intersection of US Highway 93 and Interstate 84, is approximately 7 miles from the North Side Inn's original location. The 14,400 square foot three-story Spanish-Colonial building was built by Geritt and Lori Dragt, owners of Dragt Construction. Exterior construction was completed in 2009 and features a full wrap-around veranda, second floor balcony space, and decorative concrete work throughout. The original intent of the building was to use it for business and medical offices related to the St. Benedicts Hospital planned to be built next to the Heritage Plaza. However, do to consolidation in the hospital industry and the construction of St. Luke’s new Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, St. Benedicts hospital plans were reversed. The Dragt's chose to finish the interior structure of the building sufficient to obtain special occupancy by Jerome County. Currently for sale, the Heritage Plaza represents an amazing opportunity for a new business, while offering an important link to Jerome's past.
Dragt Construction envisioned a sister building to Heritage Plaza, called the Legacy, to be built on the north adjacent lot. Sitting on a 1.38-acre lot, the matching style building would have been 19,000 square foot.
Dragt Construction currently has for sale the Legacy lot and plans, with a discounted price for purchasing both Heritage Plaza and the Legacy lots together. For more information, contact KW realtor A. Blair Crouch: (208) 280-1079 or email.
